SAUKIN is a brand rooted in Krishnanagar, West Bengal, dedicated to reviving the handmade cultural traditions and artistry of Bengal. All products sold through this platform are crafted, curated, and delivered with the highest attention to quality.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of our website, including browsers, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

2. Use of the Website

  • You agree not to misuse the website, hack into it, or perform any activity that disrupts its functionality.

  • You must provide accurate personal, billing, and shipping information when placing an order.

  • Any use of our content (text, images, videos, graphics) without permission is strictly prohibited.

3. Product Information & Pricing

  • SAUKIN strives to display all product details, descriptions, and pricing accurately.

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Handmade products may include slight natural variations — this is not considered a defect but a hallmark of authentic handcrafted work.

4. Order Confirmation & Cancellation

  • Once an order is placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled unless it is still under processing and has not been shipped.

  • SAUKIN reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders due to suspected fraud, incomplete information, or unforeseen product unavailability.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Estimated delivery times are provided during checkout but may vary due to logistics or external factors.

  • Any delay due to courier services, weather, or unforeseen events is beyond SAUKIN’s control.

  • Customers must ensure the correct shipping address is provided at checkout.

6. Refund & Replacement Policy

SAUKIN follows a strict quality-check process. However, if an issue arises, our refund and replacement policy is as follows:

Refunds and replacements are ONLY applicable if:

  1. The product arrives damaged, broken, defective, or incorrect,

  2. The defect is clearly visible and occurred

    • during production,

    • during packaging,

    • during shipping, or

    • during delivery.

Important Mandatory Requirement

To claim a refund or replacement, the customer must record a full 360-degree unboxing video of the parcel from start to finish without any cuts or edits.

The video must:

  • Clearly show the unopened package,

  • Capture the unboxing process,

  • Highlight the defect/damage immediately upon opening.

Without a 360-degree unboxing video, NO refund or replacement request will be accepted.

Cases NOT eligible for refund or replacement:

  • Change of mind after receiving the product

  • Product damaged due to customer handling after unboxing

  • No unboxing video available as proof

  • Minor handmade variations that naturally occur in artisan products

Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.

7. Return Process (If Applicable)

If a return is required:

  • The product must be returned in unused, original condition with tags and packaging.

  • SAUKIN will arrange return pickup or share return instructions depending on location.

  • Items returned without approval will not be accepted.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content on the SAUKIN website — including logos, product images, text, designs, brand assets, and website layout — is the property of SAUKIN.

  • Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • SAUKIN is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from misuse of the product.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by third-party courier partners.

  • All purchases are made at the user’s discretion.

10. Privacy & Personal Data

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
We do not share or sell your data to third parties, except as required to fulfill your order.
