About Us
SAUKIN is more than a brand — it is a cultural revival, born from the soul of Bengal and built to bring the heritage of Krishnanagar back to the world stage. For generations, Krishnanagar has been celebrated for its exquisite craftsmanship, its delicate artistry, and its unmatched tradition of handmade creations. But over time, this legacy began to fade. The world that once admired Bengal’s artistry slowly drifted away, and the voices of our skilled artisans grew quieter.
SAUKIN was founded to change that narrative.
Our Beginning
The vision for SAUKIN was born in the heart of Debosmita Sarkar, our Founder, a proud daughter of Krishnanagar. Raised amidst the stories, culture, and artistry of her homeland, she witnessed firsthand how the traditional handmade craft that once defined Bengal’s identity was disappearing. Debosmita believed that Bengal’s soul should not remain hidden — it deserved to shine globally again.
In a world that thrives on digital connection, she chose a new-age path to revive an age-old legacy: taking Bengal’s handmade tradition online and presenting it to global audiences with pride, precision, and authenticity.
The Pillars of SAUKIN
Behind Debosmita’s vision stands an unbreakable support system — her family.
Each member plays a defining role in shaping SAUKIN into a brand built on trust, love, and purpose.
CEO — Saphalya Sarkar
The driving force behind SAUKIN’s digital journey. As the CEO, Saphalya transforms ideas into reality through technology — building websites, managing online platforms, and ensuring the brand finds its rightful place in today’s global digital world. His work bridges the heritage of yesterday with the opportunities of tomorrow.
Samrat Sarkar
The strength beside the vision-holder. Samrat provides both financial and emotional support, ensuring the company's foundation remains strong. From managing offline operations to standing firmly behind every idea, he is the solid ground on which SAUKIN continues to grow.
